I have an 82 xj750 and I'm replacing the bars with biltwell z bars. They are 5" tall at the peak, they slope a little lower where your hands are. Will the factory cables and brake lines reach??

The stock Seca bars are 29" wide, and have 10" of rise and 6" of pullback at the bar ends.

Did your bars have rubber covers? Was the actual bar covered with tabs for bolting covers onto? If not then you did not have factory bars on it before.

Note that the 10" of rise is the total rise measured at the bar ends, not the rise at the middle bends.
