Well, I haven't been on here in a while because it's just been so nice in Michigan. Who wants to be inside on the computer when you can be outside enjoying it? Besides, everytime I get on here to read a few posts... before you know it, you've spent hours...

Finally got around to putting the new tires on the bike, and as a bonus, when reassembling everything, I managed to get the speedometer sender hooked up to the wheel right.

I have a few bent or loose (light lenses) thingies here and there, but it is a far cry from what it was when I got it (a 24 year old paperweight), mostly thanks to the help I got here; with a special thanks to MiCarl and his multimeter.

Anyway, I figured someone would appreciate my success.

Now to go get ready for my two week Annual Training in scenic Camp Grayling; so I'll be absent for a while again.

Once it stops raining.... maybe I should look up that "Weatherproofing your ignition coils" post I saw a while back.

Welcome home, get some shut-eye and a few miles under your belt to tide you over.

Robert, I've been out getting the miles, that's why I haven't been here lately. Why talk about bikes when you can be in the saddle, right?
