ok, I'm trying to rebuild my petcock. it's not working, and now it started leaking. so need a fix ASAP.

I read somewere there was a kawasaki part number for these petcocks, the yamaha dealer here doesn't cary anything, I'm going to try the other dealers.

Have you tried the rebuild kit from BikeBandit.com or OldBikeBarn.com?

Doesn't appear your to far up the road from me! Are you a FD volunteer member as well?

    yes, I'm a Volunteer FF.
I found a rebuild kit at a local mom & pop type shop today.
little tiny place, never thought they would even have it. but when I asked, he had it in is hand in a couple of seconds....
the price was $26 with tax, but I figured, by the time I bought it online, and paid shipping.... I'd have to wait, and I'm impatient....
it's worth paying a couple of dollars more....

    aaaaaaaaa.....
    I can't believe it.
I went to take my tank off last night, I was going to try and clean out the pilot jets, and gas was shooting out of my petcock again.

it was working perfectly when I rebuilt it a week ago. how can it quit working so soon. the new parts looked perfect, and everything fit just right. I was pumped when it worked just like it should. but now.....
