Well after a 30 year hiatus I'm on the road again. Bought my 82 650 Seca last July after attending a local Bike ride for Cancer last year. Seeing all those Bikes, it gave me the bug to ride again. Got it for 2 hundred bucks and went through long process of of replacing parts to get it roadworthy. After spending hours here at XJ Bikes gleaning through all the forums and spending 800 bucks on parts and specialty tools, I got it to pass a safety check.. So today was the first time I took it out out for a ride around the neighborhood, then out on the highway with my Buddy riding Shotgun in case there was an issue with the bike. This Seca fulfilled all my expectations and more. I put on a 100K on the first ride. I can't say enough about this site and how it's helped me. For all you new owners follow the directions of the Resident Wizards and don't take shortcuts. Check your valve clearances, clean your carbs, sync your carbs then colortune.

And when you've done all that you can spend all year just riding and riding and smiling and riding :) You can even do it again the next year, and the one after that, and.....

No, you can't. You will just pick up another bike, and wrench on it, and curse the previous owner...

Speaking of....there may be a pair of Viragos in my future. One of them I wrenched on already, so I'll only have myself to curse.
