Hi everyone, thanks for looking at the post. So onto the real question at hand.. I need a new shrader valve for my front right fork, its all marred up and I can't put air in it, and I'm also missing the black cap that goes on over it. The cap is not as important to me as the valve. I've found the valve on ebay, and bikebandit, but are very very expensive. Is there anything I can replace it with from the hardware store? Could I use a valve from a modern dirt bike since every manufactuer, except yamaha, has SFF air forks. Any knowledge and help is greatly appreciated. This is the last thing I need to finish restoring my first motorcycle I got, so LETS DO THIS PEOPLE!!

Local bicycle shop should have the valve you seek and a nice stainless cap to go with.is is just the internal valve or the entire brass body as well? Or Len at xj4ever can get you one!

It's the outer brass piece. It fell on the floor and I stepped on it :/ I'll check with my local bike shop when they open tomorrow, I've never thought of it before.
