That had nothing to do with moving up to the right at the intersection. It is still a good idea to be aware of your surroundings however.

I like how the "good Samaritan" in the Toyota keeps trying to drive around the attack as though it was a minor obstacle on the way to wherever.
"Let's see, some guy just got tackled off his bike, and now two guys are kicking the crap out of him with his own helmet. Should I do anything? Yep. I'll drive around them so no one gets hurt." Great stuff there.

This is when a good fitting helmet comes into play. If his helmet stayed on they make for a great head buts!

They make for better handles to lead the wearer around with. Where the head goes the body follows, which is why riot helmets and combat helmets are open face.

A guy tried to pull me around by my hockey mask once, he was a regular scrapper so he left his helmet easily removable. He pulled me about two feet before I got a hold of his unprotected face, he regretted it.

Wow, nobody even tried to help. NYC is a sad place, the people are unarmed and thugs run free. Stuff like that doesn't happen around here because the thugs would get shot.
