650 turbo project in the stable

    image.jpg So, my 650 turbo is finally home--- started checking to see if engine rotates ... Pulled left engine cover, spark plugs, and look! It's making a return already!

    Well, it'll be on a respirator for a long time- I get almost 1/4 rotation and that's all. Cyl 1 and 2 plugs are very rusty, 3 and 4 look great. Time to mothball it and slowly collect parts. Eventually do an engine teardown and start all over

    Be warned. The eastern half of the continent has yet another model of motorcycle that no one will get any parts for. Dave's collecting 650 turbo parts.
