Now this strip down is realy getting scarry

Removed the wiring harness. When I removed the headlight it was a rats nest of cable. I numberd each plug and its socket as I removed them but still concerned that I can get it all back together again

Nah the dread is normal, but dont let it get the best of you...

This is how we learn . just keep @ it and take your time, everything will work out.

If some thing starts to get @ you then put it down and go do some reading on it, then when your feeling like a challenge go back to it.

    Good luck and never surrender!

and yes youre a wuss  , j/k now get out there and build man

Don't worry, everything is keyed, so just rip it all apart, then when putting is back together, it goes into the only thing that will accept it.

Like the fellows said, everything (with one or two exceptions) is keyed and color coded. The experience will banish the fear, dive in!

Try putting a LS1 V8 or 3800 S/C engine in a Fiero with different ECM/PCM, rewiring those harnesses and reprogramming it, now thats mind boggling. Bikes are easy in comparison, just take your time and like it was already stated it's all color coded, just get a manual and off you go. Doesn't hurt to have a multimeter to double check.

Stuffing that V-8 in there must have been a real knuckle buster! Prom flashing isn't that difficult but the resulting tweaking is a black art in itself! Where did you find room for the larger radiator???

I actually have more room front to back for that V8 than most cars have for those 4 and 6 bangers. The radiator is a aluminum 4 core which slid right in. I had to run a electric water pump because I didn't have the room for the standard pulley driven pump on that side of the car, to close to the wheel well. The biggest issue was the wire harnesses wiring the old stuff into the new. I needed two sets of schematics for wire runs. That takes a lot of time and heaven forbid you make a mistake. :(
