    Hello guys and gals! Well this looks like a nice blog that you have here.
    I'm an older long time rider from Ontario Canada and I just bought a 1983 650 Maxim with fairly low miles {KM's} in very nice clean stock shape. It runs like a top and seems to have been very well looked after by the previous owner. {Also an older guy} This is my first Yamaha and my first 4 cyl bike but I've known lot's of buddies who bought these years ago, so I know they are a solid machine.
    I'm no mechanic but I do my own routine maintanence. Anything beyond that and it will go into the shop.

    Nice bike. I do my own maintenance myself, out of necessity ... but it is good to know what has been done on the bike.
