    SnoSheriff how do you resize pictures so they can be uploaded I tried uploading some pictures of my bike but it said they were two large.

    I wonder what that guy's home life is like???

    There is picture size limit and picture file size limit. Ideally you want to stay under 600 pixels wide and file size < 100KB. First you resize the picture size to 600 wide or less and then you lower the picture quality to reduce file size.

    I do my picture resizing with Photoshop. I'll write a tutorial how do this over the weekend.

    Save for web in photoshop is the best way... if you have photoshop then try that... the menu's are pretty straight forward in the versions I've tried 5,6,7 installed on various computers here.

    Thanks SnoSheriff, Woot I used your write up on how to resize pictures - GIMP. Got the Don back for the avatar. That GIMP software is great.

    Amazon.com shows Adobe Photoshop CS2 at $589.99. GIMP is free :wink:

    Duh :oops:
    I just found the Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 software that I purchased when I got my new computer last May, I even paid extra for it. I just installed it, and WOW :eek: 8) it's so easy to resize now. Just put in either the width or height, click the box to keep its proportions and click OK.
    It's great and I've had it all the time.
