750 cylinder in xj 600

    Hi, anyone know if i can put cylinders of xj 750 in my bike xj 600? thanks

    That's also what I heard due to different crankcase. If your bores are worn then I doubt you will find (affordable) Yamaha oversize
    pistons for a rebore unless you are lucky. There's been a suggestion that some other Japanese might fit though (Kawasaki ?).

    I don´t know if other japanese bike might fit, really i want to improve the engine but i don´t care use my 600 cc cylinders, i want more than improve exhaust and air filter, and i think about cylinders pistons and valves, i have searched a kit or pieces but i have not found, any suggestions?

    I have a 750 Seca YICS set of jugs sitting here. I ordered them for my bike before the part out.

    Crap. Your avatar says Spain. I'm guessing that like Spain, Spain. Not like, Paris Tennessee.

    Part of the issue will be that you need a chain-drive engine, the 650-up Xj's were shafties until you get to the Diversion, or the FJ1100 or FJ1200, etc..... Any way you look at it, you're gonna have a project on your hands----
