    Hi All,

Just picked up a front sport fairing for my '81 Seca 750. Now that I see it, I realize there must be some sort of bracket required. Anybody have any images/instructions on how this mounts? Anyone have a list of parts required? Anyone know where to get those parts?

    Thanks!

The brackets occasionally show up on E-Bay. If you have a tubing bender and know how to weld it would not be terribly difficult to replicate the bracket. If you need photos and dimensions I can get that done for you next weekend.

Hey k-moe - Thanks for the post. Not a bad thought to make one. I can make that happen. What would be helpful is a picture or diagram of a real one, so i get an idea of the mounting points, both on the bike and on the fairing.

Any members have pics or diagram of the fairing bracket?

    Thanks!

There were a couple different fairings for this ,so I wonder if the mounting brackets were different, too..... I don't know. If you can give us a pic of the one that you have, I'll take a pic of mine if it's the same one.

Now, you need to know, there was also another piece that went across the front of the bike, too....a rectangular block-shaped piece, too.......

The sport fairiring has two variants (which I was unaware of until I got mine); both use the same bracket (a two-peice job). The touring fairing (Larger, and has integrated lowers) has an entirely different bracket tha mounts to the frame.

Good to know they both used the same brackets!! My fairing came with bracket attached, but is not currently on the bike so it's easy to take a pic.....

Mine isn't on the bike yet either (saving up for a new windscreen); I just have to find the box that the bracket is in.

O... I forgot about this post, and I need to correct it. There was only one variant of the sport fairing. What led me to believe that there were two was an example that had been broken and expertly repaired in a slightly different configuration. It took me weeks to notice where the work had been done.
