I am about to revamp the electrical system/parts/wires on this bike.

    1. What would you all recommend for the battery in order to give it the cafe look?

    2. What type of wiring would you use and how you would wire it?

    3. What parts would you change out from the stock ones to aftermarket (electrical)?

    4. Should i take all the wiring out myself and then send it to a professional?

    Thanks!!!

    do the wiring your self
our supporting vendor sells wire and all the connectors you will need rents the proper crimp tool
    this link
XJ PARTS CATALOG, SECTION D: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
has a lot of good info on how and what to do as well as how to ID wire sizes and type of wire
or do you want to go minimal wiring instead of stock harness?

I have seen the battery mounted in the tail section of the cafe style seat
you will need one with the proper amp rating for the bike 12N 12A-4A

Wow!!!!! you are the best! thank you so much.

I would like to do minimal wiring on this bike. I will be getting smaller lights and ridding myself of the blinkers.

    This helps a lot.
