I am selling my '81 Seca that was a project of mine for about a year. It was given to me by a family friend for free, so I went all in and restored it from the frame up.

Rebuilt brake master cylinder and caliper, new steel braided brake lines, new front pads, new rear shoes
Replaced front fork seals, dust seals and new oil, stock springs were measured and are at proper height
    All new cables
New turn signal lens assemblies, all lights work on bike and gauge cluster
    New air filter
All carbs rebuilt, tuned, and synced
    Gas tank resealed
    New paint, decals and emblems
Front fender, handle bars and rear brake pedal re-chromed (triple plated)
    Seat is perfect, no tears
Yoshimura 4 to 1 exhaust bought from Pasadena Yamaha in 1990, Re-chromed(triple plated)
    New rear shocks
New handle bar grips and new throttle
    New side view mirrors
    New clutch plates
    New oil and filter
    New chain
    New Dunlop tires
    Bare frame powder coated black
1 key works for ignition, gas tank and seat compartment

The bike has a small oil leak from the Tachometer cable, I believe that is remedied with a single o-ring. There is a chip on the front of the gas tank(pictured), and the left side decal on the gas tank got some gas on it and it started to peel a little(pictured). Those are the only blemishes.

I might even be forgetting some things, I purchased so many parts from Len whom most of you know(that guy was a Godsend for me restoring this bike). I have put over $4,000 into this bike, unfortunately I will never get that for it, but I had a wonderful time restoring it and riding it. It runs strong, great on the streets and freeway. I am selling it because I have a new project in mind, and need money to get it started.
I also have some specialty tools and I will give away with the bike casuse I no longer need them.
If you have any questions please call Brendan: 626-688-0056, the bike has 27,000 mi, I am asking $2,500 firm! I am located in Southern California

    Looks awesome!
Just curious, did you re-paint it yourself?
I was looking into the paint kits chacal sells and was wondering what the process is like.

No, I had it painted and the decals put on by a a shop I use and trust. I don't trust myself when it comes to stuff like that, I've got a shaky hand, lol!!

Bump for a beautiful bike! I'm doing a similar restoration on a Maxim regarding work effort and $$, you're giving it away at that price!

Good luck with your build! I would love to sit on the bike and wait for a better price, I'm just insanely excited about starting my new project....trying to start it quickly, so I'm pricing this bike to sell!!

Nice bike! Just out of curiosity...what did it cost for paint decals? I assume they painted, put on decals, and then cleared over everything?

Decal set was $170 if I remember correctly. Paint for gas tank, front fairing, both side covers and rear fairing + setting decals was $500......no clear over decals, that was extra ☹️
