I'm thinking of swapping from regular to Clip-ons on my 750 maxim. I don't know of any fitment issue......anyone else know of any?

The original bar is bent a fair bit, though I can probably straighten it. But, I'm probably gonna put a fairing on, so may need the extra height of the clip-on ones to clear the edges.

The factory style "clip ons", or aftermarket ones that clamp to the fork tubes?
I see no reason why either type won't work.

I've changed to clubman bars and the only issues were:
    1. Angle of handlebar and front brake master cylinder mounting angle. Shouldn't be a problem but be on notice there might be some adjustment issues.
    2. Clutch cable. I kept my original cable but somehow I feel that a slightly shorter cable might work better. My clutch cable is fairly new but it seems the change of bars has required me to adjust it almost to it's limit so that the lever is firm at rest.
    3. General handlebar cabling...brake lines, throttle cable etc., might beed some re routing and/or adjustment.

The new riding position feels great for short trips to the cafe..! And you'll feel cool too ;)
