    Hi there. I have an 81 xj550 Seca. I was wondering if the 87 FZ600 header would fit. I know the heads are basically the same. I was wondering more about oil filter and frame clearance.

    I have that set up and it sucks for the xj I took it off and use it to hold a tarp over my fall project
    can not drain the oil with out long extentions and oil has no place to drain except on to pipes

    no way to use center stand. I will check on the oil filter housing monday and get back to you
    see my post in this thread.

    mine is a one piece setup do not know if factory or po welded it. i think factory

    frame clearance if fine.
    oil filter cover can not come out through pipes or side you have to drop exhaust to change filter. remove exhaust to drain oil unless you do not care if oil pours on collector.
