What would it probably cost?

I have a line on an '82 750 Seca that looks to be in very nice shape but does need maybe some carb boots (manifold boots the proper name?) and there are a couple rust holes in the outside of the exhaust muffler. Seller claims no exhaust comes out of them so perhaps it's an outside only ding that started to rust and could be patched rather than replaced. Bike has low miles and almost no rust I can see from pics. Price is not a bargain nor is it out of line but just in case I need to replace these parts right away I thought I'd ask what folks thought I might be paying. The parts sites are not helping much either.
    Thanks,

manifolds for my 550 run about 35-40 USD a pop on parts sites, but can be had on ebay for about half that.

bikebarn has those boots for around $90 brand new. That will buy you the set of four. As for the exhaust there are some aftermaket ones out there that can cost upwards of $450. This can be tricky though as you may have to rejet your carbs to handle a more free flowing exhaust. Old ones can be repaired by welding them, but then they don't look nice as the chrome int's there. It does prevent leaking exhaust though. You can tell if you hold your hand next to it.

Does oldbikebarn call these "carb holders"? Only thing I can find that slightly resembles. In any case, probably more in labor than dollars. Yeah, the carb tuning for an aftermarket exhaust could be problematic, esp for me but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
    Thanks for replies.

Yes I believe they do call them carb holders. Labor to get them off isn't bad. You will need to pull the carbs though. Once they are off, you need to tap those cap screms woth a hammer. Not too hard, but it does help to loosen them. Then you remove them and install the new ones. Good luck!!
