    Hello all I am looking for a 82 xj650 maxim seat or seat pan, want to try to create a more comfortable seat but I don't want to cut up the current seat so if anyone knows of one for sale or trade let me know thanks

    I have a seat from an 82 XJ650 Seca:

    Seat pan is perfectly fine. Those are the only small tears in the seat. I'd send that out for cheap.

    I did a quick search, and I guess perhaps a seat pan swap? Not sure exactly. Someone else would have to chime in. Paging @chacal

    Yeah I want to keep my stock seat as is so I can ride it while I modify the extra(new) seat without changing anything to the frame or seat pan

    I have one. I'm in the process of stripping down my 82' right now. Seat's up for grabs and in good condition. Has a Saddlemen re-cover from previous owner. PM me if interested. And I'm in MA, so we may not have to ship.
