xj650 seca carb to xj650 maxim?

    Is it okay to swap my xj650 maxim carb with an xj650 seca carb?

    They are from the same year.

    Same carb but double check main jet size
    For whatever reason Canadian bike had 112 main and US was 110maybe cooler average temperature ??

    I've heard that it was for emissions reasons; US was the only country that got the smaller jet sizes for equivalent bikes.
