Hey guys - well, I got a new battery and took her for a quick ride and she runs just as good as I remember. I think first thing on my list of things to take care of is fork seals and rear shocks.

I found this walk through on fork seals: http://www.xjbikes.com/forums/threa...forks-rebuild-now-a-how-to.18730/#post-159261

I would like to upgrade the dust covers with fork boots like the ones pictured here:

can anyone recommend me ones that will fit properly on my '81 Seca 750?

Also - when my rear shocks decompress (i.e. when I get off the bike) I can hear them sucking air - i presume this means I need to replace them (they can't be rebuilt, can they?). I'm all ears as to suggestions on upgrades and/or *affordable* replacements.

Progressive is a good choice front and back. I have them on my 650seca and it handles much better than before.

The DCC offering looks cheezy. I'm in the same boat - I don't want "value" shocks, I want close-to-race performance, but I cannot afford Öhlins. And hold the chrome, please.
