    I've searched the forum and haven't found any Info on new coils. I have an 81 xj750r and does any body know what coils you can use instead I've heard that a gsf1200 coil is the same as the xj750r coils.

    Get the Accel coils and mounting kit from Chacal. Click on the catalog link in the top right corner!

    Thanks ill be doing the cb coils for now I wanna keep the ignition system as stock as possible for now will mod later when I plan on doing the bike all over

    You won't need different coils when you mod. IF you want them to look different, just paint them. Expensive coils just cost more, they don't work any better.

    Cycle Recycle part 2 has brand new CB750 coils 39.95 ea ..these have replaceable wires and mount in stock location if flipped around...the work great on 82Xj750Rseca.. one more thing they also sell wires and caps.
