For Sale XJ550 Parts

I'm considering letting go of some extra parts. I'll try to get a more organized list together, a few items off the top of my head are stock bars, airbox, side covers, tank badges, upper triple tree mount, battery box. These parts all range in condition so please inbox me or post here and I'll do my best to work with anyone needing parts. State side shipping only, again sorry for no organization but I wanted to offer all parts to our members before i posted on ebay. Thanks.

 

how do the tank badges look? I have some now, but not super condition, so depending on price you put on them...

 

Tank badges: The original gold started coming off when i first refinished the bike, so i repainted them with paint and clear. Some surface scratches, slight crack on top of left side Y visible in attached pictures.

Also I have front and rear fenders, rear taillight and lens, the seat and seat trunk. front turn signals. So feel free to ask if I have anything else laying around.

 

Not sure the brand or anything on this, I thought it was interesting. The chrome is worn, so i painted it up. As you can see it move back and forth for a driver or passenger backrest. The lock will need replaced, but the trunk is removable and leaves a rack behind for hauling tents or whatever you heart desires. If anyone is interested I can get more pictures.

 

Trunk. No key. Will have to replace the lock or get key made, no deep gouges.. key scratches around lock.

 

Left and right side covers. right one has a slightly broken top tab. Hasn't effected its stability when mounted. Left side has a small one inch crack on the top side, not very visible. Plastic chrome is in fair shape for being 35 years old. Will sell together or separately.

 

Front fender, rear fender, and chain guard. Rear fender has some small pitting from surface rust. front fender is good, chain guard good.

 

Airbox.. regret cutting out your airbox after pods didnt work for you? Here's a replacement. Boots not included.

 

Bars, upper triple, and frame neck guard. Bars need a good cleaning, as most all these parts do, but should clean up nice.

 

Crash bar needs some work. PO set the bike down on the one side and bent them. Instead of bending them back i put them on a press and bent the other side to match. I preferred the slanted look instead of straight. Road rash on side that went down but could be fixed or painted. Front turns, plastic is good, rest is for parts. one rubber is snapped, inquire for details. Crank vent tube too.

 

I'm very interested in those crash bars and that backrest....

I'm sorry, I know you messaged me the other week and I've yet to respond. Life's been very busy, haven't had much time to myself. I'm not 100% sure what its worth? maybe someone could price it better. I'm of no need for it, please not that theirs no boots included. Any reasonable offer is fine with me.

 

Most parts are still available, Tank badges crash bar and trunk have all been sold. Front fender i will be keeping for now until im sure what I'm doing with a fender. I also have a decent condition seat that is available I can take pictures if anyone is interested.
