OK... I recently finished painting my XJ750... removed the front fender, tank, tail and side covers. Got these parts left over. I seem to remember the clip going behind the headlight or there abouts and I think the spacers go back somewhere in the tail piece. Do these ring a bell with anyone? Thanks in advance.

By the way... did it all black, wet sanded from 500 up to 2500 and buffed. Looks bad ass. Old color was a burgundy that leaned towards brown. Much improved. Still riding out here in Chicago. Was 57 today but will be 73 on Saturday. That could possibly be the last ride of the year. 001.JPG

I can't help with the location of the parts, but you're doing a great job restoring the bike. Looks beautiful.

Thanks Light. This is becoming one of my favorite bikes of all time. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the color, now, nothing left but good.

The large washers and spacers are for the grab handle bolts so they can't be overtightned and crush the tailpiece. There are two sizes; one for the grab handle and two for the forward mounting bolts on the tail.

The clip does not look like it belongs to a Seca 750 (if it does then mine was, and is, missing).

That looks great! I hope mine looks half as good when I paint mine (maybe next year).

Actually, the clip IS for the bike.....it goes on the tail light assembly, and is a locking clip. The slotted part slides over one bolt, and the other end pivots down over the other one.
