750 clutch issues

    Is the clutch slipping? No? Then they are thick enough.
    Are they the original clutch discs? Yes? Replace them no matter how thick they are.

    Maximum allowable warpage of the steel plates is 0.05mm (replace them if they have blued, regardless of warpage).
    Minimum friction plate thickness is 2.8mm
    Spring free length is 41.2.., service limit of 40.2mm

    Do the inner splined plates have to go back a certain way,they have flat sides with dimples?

    The differences for the 650 and 750 clutches are explained in the thread. Most everything is the same though.
