I haven't seen any post regarding this, and I am having trouble installing the front tire. If I tighten the lug nut a little bit more, the brake caliper that I removed to get the tire off (Right sitting on bike) clamps the tire. I have a XJ750 with double disc brakes, so I had to remove one to get the tire off

Right now it rides, but the lug nut is not as tight as it was before (not to specs) and it wobbles like crazy.

Should I inspect the caliper? How do you guys install the front tire? How far does the bar inside the tire go?

    Thanks for your help!

You tighten the axel nut first then you tighten the pinch bolt that locks the axel to the fork.
Look at how the rotors are sitting within the calipers, any left/right adjustment is made prior to tightening the pinch bolt.

If I tighten the axel nut first the axel comes inside the fork...doesn't it?

    Thank you!

The neck of the axel will seat into the fork body quite a bit. You should be golden after that.

Thank you Robert, once I get the parts to rebuild the caliper will try.
