Went to gas station filled up with fresh gas ( didn't fill up last year) went out down back road , bike runs sooo smooth . Hmmm... It was 40 when I did my first ride of the new year. At the time I thought that was the best I'd get.

I would need snow tires on my bike to take a ride at this time of the year, this is the law for any vehicle in Quebec, from december 15th to march 15th.

I got out for about 45 minutes today, have the bike sitting on go at all times just for such an opportunity. Roads pretty much dry and light rain earlier in the week to wash most of the crud off the surface.

The first rides of the season are scarry here pot holes and sand , loose gravel and my favorite other drivers not used to bikes being out. It seemed like a hundred bikes out yesterday:):D
