xj550 rear turn signals

    I would like to replace my rear turn signals without spending too much money. What have you guys done as far as aftermarket turn signals? I would rather not add an IC or mess with the flashing circuit. Looking for some signals that don't poke out as much but are equally visible.

    trim the stalks, its basically free if you do it yourself

    Try ebay, you may be able to pick up a set of nice looking ones for a good price.

    I ended up just taking off the stock turn signals, removing the bulb enclosure from the rubber stalk and rigging together some plumbing fixtures so the bulb enclosures are directly attached to the bike.

    I just got some turn signals from a FJ. They bolt and wire up without any modifications .I have short ones on the front long ones on the back. After market where $16.00 each.
