This is what my spark plugs look like.

    This is after 5 miles of riding. I am running a full can of seafoam atm also, so I don't know if thats whats putting the gray looking stuff on the plugs. These were brand new also.

    The plugs look lean. The gray stuff may be from the Seafoam or may be heat generated oxidation. I would open the mixture screws about 1/2 turn each and then check the plugs again.

    I'd wait until you've run the sea foam all the way out. Then pull the plugs and see how they look on straight gas.

    Too Lean.

    Warm it up and adjust that No.-1 Screw OUT until the Performance of the "One-Hole" deteriorates.
    Coughing
    Sputtering
    Mis-firing.

    Adjust the 1-Screw back in ... slowly until the Idle returns ... steady.
    Kill it.
    "Measure" the exact amount of Turns IN ... the 1-Screw needs to Bottom Out.

    Reset the 1-Screw to where you had it to make the measurement.

    Bottom-out the 2, 3 & 4 Screws.
    Bring them out to the Value of your 1-Screw.

    Fire that Baby up.
    Adjust Idle with the Idle Speed Rod.

    That SeaFoam must be doing a number cleaning-out your Combustion Chamber, too.

    Those Plugs are looking mighty clean. At 3-Spins Out you'd expect a little bit of Combustion evidence. I don't think you are going to be able to accurately set-up the Pilot Mixtures with the additive in the fuel.

    That stuff has a Lean-burning -- cleaning, property to it! And, from the looks of those Plugs ... I'd say it's working!

    Yea, let's do what Gamuru said and run the Seafoam out, then check the plugs again.

    gotcha, haven't messed with them yet, so I will let it wait till next weekend, by then the tank will need refilling.

    If the Regular Gas you get is 10% Ethanol or higher ... Bag getting Regular and take the Mid-grade or High-test for awhile.

    There's a good deal of Water in the Exhaust of Gas with a high concentration of Ethanol ...

    That stuff will run Lean and the H2O in the Exhaust will prevent the Plug Read from being accurate.

    You can tweak 12% Ethanol to run Rich enough to cause water to drip out the exhaust drain holes after the Collector.
