    Hi everyone,
    Quick intro from the UK, found you guys after looking around the net, seems a lot more activity on here compared to some other forums.
    Just rescued a 1998 XJ600N, (think you call them a Seca in the US) that's been stood for a few years.
    28000 miles and one owner. Cleaned the carbs, changed the oil and filter, repaired a corroded solenoid to relay wire and away she went, sounds fine (got a 4 into 1 exhaust on it)
    So, got do do a seized rear caliper, new tyres, then good strip and clean.

    Been away from bikes for a good few years driving lorries all over Europe, so forgive any stupid questions I may ask.
    Looking forward to joining in.

    Hmmmmm, just had Bacon and all the trimmings for breakfast.
    Should be some gear delivered today and seeing as it's a balmy 10c and part sunny I'm doing a bit more on the XJ.

    Every time I see a nice XJ600 it reminds me of the time when I walked away from a deal on a new one. I don't regret not spending the stupid-money the dealership wanted from me, but I do regret not getting the machine back then. They are so much more comfortable than the EX500 I ended up with.

    Have a trip to Belgium planned in May with a couple of mates.
