So I have been changing the main wiring harness on my 1985 xj700x I have a 2 wire connector black and blue on the left hand side of the bike that I can figure out what it goes to.

That first pic might be the one that goes to the gas light? Not too sure from that angle, but if it is right behind the tank and close to the top of the air box, that might be it. Check the gas tank and see if it is a m/f ends.

Dos anyone have the turn signal relay work around for the X bikes? I don't think he has that relay and I am not sure if all the wires that goes to that under tank turn signal delay relay thing is needed to power the rest of the bike? Thanks.

It is not the connector for the the gas tank. I have already located that one and have it labeled. I do not have they relay that connects to the 9 wire connector(believe it's the turn signal starter relay. I have everything plugged in except the 9 wire connector and that blue and black wire connector and have no power to anything

According to the wiring diagram in the service manual, blue/yellow stripe and black goes to the sidestand switch. Solid blue with black goes to the fan.

Ok so I just looked at the wiring (put my glasses on) it is blue and yellow strip so inhale figure out what it goes to. Since my bike doesn't have a sidestand switch is the problem no power is going anywhere.

Do you have a wiring diagram from both bikes yet? If your harness has a stand plug in but your bike does not, you will have to bypass some of those things. Make the bike harness think the stand us up all the time.

Going to try to find the Starting circuit cutoff relay that's missing. Yamaha dealer says they can't get it . Can't find it on ebay.
