Is this feasable

    Hi all'
    One for the mix,scince the turbo frame is shot to pieces,would it be feasable to transplant the turbo engine into an xj750f rolling chassis,electrical issuses aside

    Not sure, couldnt tell anything from yamaha sites. What is the year, that might help someone more knowledgeable (not hard to come by here, at all). I know that the 650 and 750 have very similar parts or the same parts on a few different applications, so I am thinking that it is very likely possible. Hopefully one of the sheriffs or the like can answer better than me.

    That might be possible. You may have issues fitting the turbo and exhaust parts.

    its an 85 (looks like the 900)
    turbo is'nt a problem that only involves welding the mounting bracket to the frame and same for the fuel pump and pressure sensor, my main concern was weight issues etc.
