    In the UK these are the xj600H but in the US they were the FJ600, they are still relatively cheap here not being that popular.

    I quite like the frunpy 80's styling, the first 4 cylinder yamaha with a monoshock, comfortable ride and holds the road well

    thanks, started with the red one but there were times when i had problems, waiting for parts or having repairs so i got the second grey one to fill in the gaps.

    the grey one is made up from two non runners but the engine had only done 17k at the time so it was worth building up.

    this is an internet stock photo but just to show that this model looks good with a fairing, this one has the original twin silencers/mufflers.

    Did you notice the gaiters on the front forks (top two photos on this thread) a really good move in the UK where the weather can be pretty awful, damp and miserable.

    the gaiters are off an east european motorbike called an MZ, this is a photo of my old MZ
