    I seem to recall seeing a story on how HD started doing this -- someone there saw or heard of it being done in Europe, and liked the idea. It allowed them to cut down the number of welds needed to assemble a frame by about half, I think it was. They also didn't use grease -- it was actually water.

    They use it to make two stroke expansion chambers well

    I like the idea of using explosives to do it
