    Keep your eyes on Craigslist. This time of year people would rather sell their bike than deal with winter storage, and there are bargains to be found. Good luck and happy hunting.

    Ha ha..no it doesnt...30 yrs as an original XJ1100 owner..tends to bias me a tad...but beyond that..I could never get used to the stupid instrument clusters on the Secas that look more like a toy than a real motorcycle...YMMV..and it prolly will...

    The Maxim and Seca 750 share the same cluster. Some call it the Atari. Some call it awful. Apparently some like it...

    No they dont share the same cluster.

    The 750 Seca cluster is just for the 750 Seca.
    The 750 Maxim had two different clusters....
    A. The Atari cluster, which is different than the Seca Atari cluster
    B. The non-atari cluster which was shared with the 82-83 650 Maxim

    I use the Craigslist plus app on my phone I like it as I can search up to any distance I want to go by state/town. I’m sure you have something similar though

    :( love the look of the Atari.....one of the main reasons I bought my Seca. But then again, if I wanted the classic look I could just jump on the boy's 550.

    I have an 83 xj750 midnight maxim 12k turnkey super clean. Fresh rubber and carbs done in march 2017 in shop. I put 7k on the bike this year its a great bike.
    $1500 im near Chicago but we can possibly work that out.

    That is a nice one..timing is everything..and unfortunately for this ..the timing is not there.. I have found a modern sport tour machine in a Suzuki Bandit1250S
    BUT..The big news is my totaled ..wrecked 1979 XS1100 is going to be rebuilt into another frame ..so my search is complete..I do appreciate your consideration though..GLWS

    Hauls ass. Basically only a few hundred miles on the engine.
