Hi guys...bike been running great since I fixed the light on the valves...but now I need to find a good carburation kit to replace the factory (I guess) since in the really hot days and between 1000 and 2500 rpm the bike start to "studder" and she is way rich on gas. So question here are: 1- how do I know what carbs are on the bike since the carbs does not have any name print on them? And 2- Carburation kits from a xj 750 or other c.c. will fit ? Mine is a xj700 1985. Thanks...

90 % of these carbs are identical, one exception is some have fine threat mixture screws and of course different jets and vacuum pistons and needles are slightly different. The best way is have Len @xj4Ever get you the correct parts the first time and in truth will save you money by not buying more than you need to end up with the right parts

In Argentina, in general, yes. Anything coming into Latin America from the U.S. is high on the list for being pilferd.

If the 750 kit is available there, why isn't the 700 kit available there?

The two are very close, but the 700 kit has extra o-rings for the overflow T's. Len can tell you more particulars

If it's not OEM, or it's not from Len, I WOULD NOT BUY IT,OR TRUST THAT SET FOR ANYTHING I REBUILD.

I've had too many racks come in that have had sets like that put in... while they LOOK good, the numbers match, etc...they don't work. Put correct parts in and they work perfectly.

Get the complete kit-- I recommend the deluxe kit. Everything you'll need is in it.
