I’m slightly customizing an ‘82 Seca 550 with a front fairing and looking for ideas to mount smaller indicator lights. Most aftermarket cafe lights are short-stemmed, so looking for ideas on mounting possibilities.
    Thanks!

Looks like your using your original stems. How did the lights mount up? Same as stock?

    extend the stems
you could make a bracket and mount onto the fender mounting bolts

Lights are from a fz . Cheap and plentiful. They mount to the stock location. You can get them in short stem
and long, two wire a three wire. I have long stem on the front and short on the rear.

Yes, stock fairing. No photo yet, but it is a standard, same wattage bulb, aftermarket small, cafe bolt on. Not long enough for current headlight mount.

lamp threaded pipe come to mind you would need to modify cover with shrink tubing ,maybe make an adaptor similar to the long nuts used for threaded rod.
