My 550 Seca project was given to me with the front turn signals cut off. Rear signals are intact. My objective is to get my bike running nicely, first, before major fixes and mods.

Question is - can I just tape off the cut wires and all will be well? If I decide not to use front signals, can I just pull them out of their harness and all else will still work?

    1. You can just tape over the cut wires, but use friction tape, or the good 3M electical tape, or the tape won't hold up long.
    2. Unless things in Washington have changed, you are required to run front and rear turn signals on any street-going motorcycle built after January 1, 1960.
