    Hi.
Have to change my oil pump and I wonder : Are every xj650 oil pumps identical?
For expl. : If I have xj650 Seca (1982) and I will buy oil pump from Xj650 Maxim 1980-81 will it fit?

And btw who is this beast *YAMAHA XJ 650 4KO* ?
Is it the general name of xj650 models or smth else?

    Thank you

All XJ650 oil pumps are the same except for the Turbo models, as they incorporate a scavenge circuit to receive oil back from the turbocharger unit.

    A Yamaha XJ650 4K0 is a 1980 XJ650 European/UK model:

    COUNTRY: EUROPE

    MODEL NAME: XJ650
    STREET NAME: 1980 XJ650
    MODEL ID CODE: 4K0
    FRAME ID: 4K0
    SERIAL NUMBER STARTS AT: 000101
NOTE: styling and features the same as North American XJ650RJ Seca model, has dual front disc brakes, an oil cooler, and uses the non-YICS 653cc engine.
