    Howdy all!!,

    I have a 1997 Seca 2- XJ600

Ok, I came across a woman near me that had:
    Front Tire Dunlop Elite 110/80B17
    Rear Tire Dunlop Elite 130/70-18

These are the recommended size tires for me.

For FREE, yes, you read that right. She got divorced nd was clearing out her garage, the tires are Brand new and never been mounted. They are about a year off the shelf. She didn't know what kind of bike her husband had and wasn't going to get into it. So I grabbed them.

What does the "B" mean? I cant really find anything on the internet that says yes or no for my bike. Ive read about bias and radial. The only thing I can find is these tires are desirable for Harley Davidson.

Anyone with any ideas? Will they work?

    Thank you for any input.

    Phillip

Belted, so in addition to the cross ply carcass there’s an additional layer of plys that cover only the tread section and not the side walls.
I spent 2 years of my youth making mostly mini spares and some light truck tires, all bias ply.
the factory is long gone and most bias tires are to. Mini spares will remain bias as there's no need to make them radials.

There are many offerings of bias-ply tires for motorcycles still.

Are these known as cross-ply here in the UK?
