    i saw that yesterday and in a post recently on here. agreed on the poor photoshop job. i dont think that its worth 2 grand. if you are interested in it and come to philly, let me know. i live just outside center city and would like to see that thing in person.

    It's a 50cc Bike painted-out in a Black Paint scheme.

    Maxim's are XJ-Bikes with much bigger engines and shaft drive.

    It's actually a special Yamaha factory-produced "Midnight Special" RX50 (??) that was made available to some of their larger dealerships in 1983 in order to further promote the XJ750 Midnight Maxim. From what I've heard, there were less than 100 made. Actually very rare, and very neat. If that one were half the price I would jump all over it!
