    Thinking of picking up a 77 xs750 tank for my 83 xj750 and I was wondering if anyone has done this before and how difficult is it to mount it properly ?

    The rear mouning hole is round, instead of the oval that the XJ has, so you'll need to do some work there at least.
    I also think (but can't be certain) that the XS tunnel is quite a bit shallower since the frame backbones are very different.
