    I've been meaning to post these for some time. This is a bike I saw at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia. Sad that it has bee sacrificed, but very interesting to see the inner workings.

    cool post, does that actually have a Turbo somewhere? or is the name Turbo?
    I want to make my XJ750 a Turbo. Oh ya.. ;)

    That I indeed a 650 Seca Turbo from Yamaha. They are somewhat available, and reasonably priced (fans of the model say they're unreasonably low). It'd be cheaper and easier to buy one than to turbo your 750. But if you're into the project, go for it, we'd love to follow along.

    If I recall correctly, that was a bike that Yamaha did as a promotional tool.


    As for the ad:

    Every vehicle I ever bought was running when parked. Some stopped being able to run while being parked, others stopped being able to run after being parked, and a few still ran even after sitting for years.
