    Just so I understand, you need the pin or shaft that is somewhat flat on one side with splines on the other? The flat side spreads the shoes apart during braking, and the splined side is where the arm attaches that the rod is hooked to which runs up to the pedal

    Yes, when turned it spreads the brake shoes out. I can salvage everything but that. It's bent and the splines are all twisted.
