Follow up to my odometer reset on my 1982 XJ 750 D2

I have now lost all running lights front and back and instrument dash.

The brake light works and the light you tip to let someone go or out of a junction works and indos that it.

Also pic of po fusebox hack don't really know what going on other them 2 35amp fuses run the bike than two 15 amp fuses connected to that.

Battery is running within normal healthy parameters
Looked at the loom up were I could see and found no burnt wires.

My XJ 900f fusebox was the same when I got the bike, managed to get a replacement harness and the one on the bike was a mess. Check your fuses first. Better fitting a new blade type fuse box and the original Yamaha ones degrade with time and the clips break.

What exactly did you do before your lights failed? Chances are it could be related to the problem you have now. The first thing you can do is check the fuse for the lights, may be something as simple as a blown fuse.

One of the two remaining original fuses is likely where the problem lies.
If not the fuses, then the fuse clips.
Visual checks won't do. Use a meter or test light.
