Assembling the top end and not sure if I have the correct chain to sprocket location. Manual says to pull the chain tight between the crank and exh/int cam sprocket them put the chain onto the sprocket. On the attached pic it shows how much slack I have above the top guide and I had to move the int. cam a little to get the bolt hole to line up. That made the int cam dot slightly to the right of the center on the cap. Am I on the right track or do I need to adjust to where the slack is between the int. Cam sprocket and crank sprocket side?
    Thanks for any input! 20190325_164412.jpg

I think you need to get 1/2 link over the sprocket to the cam chain tensioner side
    maybe a full link

that's too slack on the top run.
The chain should be touching the upper guide.
All of the slack should be below the intake cam sprocket so the adjuster can take it up.

That worked...shifted the chain 1 link on the intake cam side.
