Hey all. I'm going to be taking my seca on a highway trip to my brother and sister-in-laws place about 3 hours south of me. I've done hour or so long trips. But nothing this long with the bike. My question is there anything I should prep on the bike to be on the highway that long? I just rebuilt the motor about 600 miles ago (last winter).

If it's run for an hour at speed and under load, I don't know that you need more than the usual pre-ride check. Brakes, tires, battery, clutch, lights, and gas.

Prep your head for the ride. Wear your gear.
At 600 miles the engine is past the initial break-in period, so just ride normally.

3 hours is nothing. I barely do anything special when I'm gone for 10 days.

These old bikes are über reliable, basic pre ride check, prep yourself, wear proper gear, dont forget to gas up often, bikes have shitty range. :)

I'm going to add one of those throttle locks that goes inbetween the grip and the controls. Had one before but it sun faded and broke on me.
