Is the oil level ok ? Maybe change it to be sure. May be full of gas from a leaking fuel valve or water from rain or condensation.

Oil is ok, it's full, it's sounds like it's on the starter side of the engine in the lower end

You can likn a video from a hosting site after your fifth post here.

My first thought is that the starter clutch is hung-up, and that the carbs aren't really as clean as you think they are.

I get that. The noise you describe is indicative of a starter clutch problem, regardless of when the stall occured (or even if it didn't stall).

    Anthony,
Welcome to the forum, lots of info here and so many great people to help you out. I think what "Toomanybikes" was checking on was not only the oil level but it you had the gas run into the oil issues so many of these bikes have. If you didn't wet set the carb fuel bowl levels and for some reason the petcock would fail, gas leaks into the engine. Take the oil filler cap off and give it a good "sniff" to see if you smell gas. If you had a little air on top of the oil level window and now you don't that is also a good indication that fuel is getting into the oil.
