Anyone know if a center stand still fits on a xj900 with a 4 to 1. Just picked this bike up. Not sure header brand but has a Jardine muffler.

    Thanks

My bike has 4:1 had to delete center stand. Same as one of my neighbours bikes, 1100 yammy. Dont know if anyone makes a 4:1 that allows center stand to function. Screw it! Be loud and proud!

Not sure if the Jardine on your Seca 900 has the clearance? I do know that the MAC 4 into 1 on my Maxim X does:

Take a close look at the clearance where the mount is compared to the exhaust with a small piece of wood in a vertical orientation, as if it was on the stand as shown above.

Next thing to consider is a stop to help keep the right side "Foot" from slamming into the muffler. Those are fairly easy to set up as I did on the other side shown here:

Of course, the other challenge is finding the correct center stand for your bike, if your clearance check looks like it will fit.

I have a Motad four into one exhaust system and the centre stand is retained but they are out of business now.

Not sure about the Jardine one, but there are other systems available although pricey.

I can tell ya one thing this header makes changing the oil filter a chore.

A spin-on kit and a mini-filter would lessen that. Might not even need the mini filter.

I thought that would be the fix for it. Once I figured there was no way around it I loosened the header and removed the muffler bolt. It fell right out. Wasted more time trying to not touch the exhaust then just lowering it a touch.
