    Ok, So this weekend, I am going to be changing out the turn signal sockets with 1157 sockets for running lights. I located my flasher relay Nippondenso FU257CD and want to change it out for the LED conversion in the near future. I know that the auto cancellation will be disabled (it does not work anyhow). Can anyone please tell me what my replacement flasher needs to be for the led's. Make/model number/brand, whatever you can tell me. Even though I will just be using regular 1157 bulbs for a couple of weeks.
    Thanks
    Dave

    the one i used was a Tridon Slant EL13 variable load flasher relay. i got it from pep boys for around 8 bux.

    the wiring is:
    X ----> Br (brown)
    P ----> G/Y (yellow w/ green stripe)
    l -----> Br/W (brown w/ white stripe)

    Sweet thanks for the info. I was afraid I was going to have to pay big bucks for one.

    Well, I found a Pep Boys and bought a Tridon Slant EL12 2 prong electronic flasher. $8.99 Removed my old flasher, and just plugged in the new one. Made sure L plugged into L and that was it, it just worked. Blinks great and does not slow down when I am idling. As for my auto cancel, it never worked before, so I don't miss it.
    Next stop LED's.
