    My speedometer was reading really low (< half), cleaning and lubing didn't help, so I tried remagnetizing my speedo only to mess it up beyond repair...

    I have one. Minus only the wiring harness for the bottom 4 light bulbs and the mounting bracket. Just cleaned up and lubed the internals and painted the metal insert inside and the front casing. Both matte black with clear coat.
